Open Walking

We want to invite the public to "OPEN WALKING" at the elementary school eather in the early morning or after school. With the roadways and sidewalks snow covered and slipperly our hallways are an attractive alternative to snow and ice.
The building is open for walking at 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. and in the early evening hours from 3:30 to 7:00 p.m. after school. We do ask that if you bring a vehicle to school for walking in the morning, that you park in the west parking lot and not on the east side where the busses unload.
We hope this is a good alternative for you and should you have any questions feel free to call my office for more information. (854-7491 ext. 400)

FITNESS ROOM DONATIONS

Recently, Wisconsin Public Service, and representative, Jim Philippi, granted Crivitz Public Schools with a generous donation for our new fitness facility at the high school. We are extremely grateful and would like to express our sincere appreciation toward Mr. Phillippo and WPS.

Any individual or business that would be interested in contributing to our facility, may contact the Administrative Office at; 854-2721.

NEW CRIVITZ WRIGHT ROOM

Everyone is welcomed to use our new weight room at the high school. The facility is opened for adults between 7:00-9:00 A.M. and 5:309:00 P.M. Students must be supervised and are encouraged to use the weight room from 7:00 A.M. - 5:30 P.M. Adults must have a signed waiver on file. Blank waivers are located in the file cabinet. Everyone must follow the policies we have set. The weight room rules are posted. Please read and adhere to them.

The walking schedule at the high school is: 7:00-8:00 A.M. and 3:304:30 P.M.
Elementary: 3.30-9:00 P.M.

The School District of Crivitz is in need Of substitute teachers. Interested individuals must have a bachelor's degree to apply. Please call the, administrative office 715-854-7491 for an application.

COMMUNITY ED ADVLSORY MEETING MINUTES November 12-6,1999 CRIVITZ COMMUNITY EDUCATION Mtg. 12-6-99, 7:00 P.M. Members present: Rick Kinart, Patrice Sessler, Sally Witt, Carol Olson, Lloyd Hahn, Bob Beltrarne Members absent: Joyce Carriveau, Steven Grabowski, Chris VanDeWalle, R-handi Shubert Minutes from 11-8 Meeting Approval, Sally-motion, Rick-second Health and Weliness Program Supplies needed: paper towels, disinfectant spray, trash can (Carol to ask Bill Cherry) Comm. Ed. To purchase: 2 drawer file cabinet, for charts, records. Motion: Sally Second: Bob Approved Committee not aware of any restrictions of use of room. When gym functions WPS to donate$1000.00 toward Wellness Room. We need to take pictures of room and get a press release out. Open Gym- Wednesday Has board approved fees for non-district residents? $5.00 per mnth. $25,00-6 Mnths. Need to post fee schedule Sign in schedule Issue ID card or receipt Community Ed Director to collect fees Explore possibility of Walking Program at HS-evenings Summer Camps- Sally to begin exploring bringing someone new in for camps Rick to talk with coaches for their ideas Carol informed Board has interviewed candidates for her replacement. Joe will check with MGL Fitness in regards to maintenance program for equipment in weight room. 2. Joe will keep working on summer camps.
