List of
Annotated Links
What follows are some of the ADD-related
sites that I've found helpful and/or fun. These are the
links that I've divided into categories.
(Not all links fit into categories or necessarily get put
into the appropriate category right away.) If you would like
to go to the alphabetical listing (which contains all of the
links except those added within the last week) click on a
letter.

Links
about Clutter and
Organizing . . .
One of
the greater problems for many with ADD is
disorganization - often manifested as
clutter.
The web has a wealth of information about this as
well.
"When your environment is pleasant,
you're more likely to be" - Emilie Tolley
(lifted from the Organizing
site)
"Have nothing in your house you do
not know to be useful or believe to be
beautiful." - Henry David Thoreau (or William
Morris?)
"...about four-fifths of the contents of
nearly every home could be given away with good effect
to that home. But the things given away might go on to
poison some other home. So why not at once destroy
undesireable things .. make and end of
them?"
--Frank Lloyd Wright, "Prairie
Architecture", Modern Architecture,
1931.

says it all. The articles on desk
clearing and kitchen
organizing are remarkable for

- HomeWise
Software - Shareware - free to
try - $19.95 if you keep it. HomeWise is a novel
multipurpose database designed to be a family and home
organizer. Using the metaphor of a home, where individual
functions are listed by room, virtually everything from
to-do lists and book inventories to personal calendars
and clothing sizes can be listed. The kitchen contains a
recipe box, party and meal planners, and similar lists.
Family members can keep individual lists in their
bedrooms. A family area allows access to phone lists, a
family calendar, 911 emergency numbers, medical data,
house plant information, and other communal information.
The program is well organized and easy to navigate, and
will help you organize things you never even thought of.

on currency of links. I try tocheck the links each month to
make sure they are still valid. I haven't been able to do
this, though, since July, 1998. Those with two ** are on
this site. If you have suggestions for additions or notes on
broken links, please write

What's New? August 20, 1998
8/20/98 Changed the name of this
page to clutter.htm
(was
links_categories_clutter.html)
3/27/98 Moved this category to its own
page
3/7/98 Moved the Personal Stories
category to its own page to speed up loading.
2/15/98 Text-only versions of links pages
(alpha
and categorized) added. These load more quickly but lose
some ease-of-use without the graphics.
2/9/98 Received "Heart of the Web" award

2/9/98 Re-ordered "Newly-Added" category
so that links are organized by date added rather than in
alphabetical order. This is to make it easier for frequent
visitors to find what has been added and also to make it
easier for me to double-check that they have been put into
the alpha list before deleting them from this category
list.
