MEPS Processing Guidelines

MEPS General Rules

• Report to the MEPS no later than 5:30

• Bring you luggage with you, as you will not return to the hotel after going to MEPS

• Lunch is served at MEPS from 10:30 to 1:00

• Expect waiting periods, bring something to read

• Radios, CD players, or headphone are not allowed

• Once processing begins, applicants must remain in the MEPS area (On the 10th Floor)

What should I wear?

      When you take the physical exam at meps you should wear clothing that is loose, comfortable and appropriate to the setting.  Bluejeans or long pants and a t-shirt are suggested. (clean undergarments must also be worn (Females must wear bras)

Here are a few things NOT to wear

• no lewd, crude, or offensice remarks on clothing

• no tanktops, cut off t-shirts or bikini tops

• no hats while inside the building

Medical Exams

• Bring your eyeglasses, even if you wear contact lenses

• If you wear contacts, bring your case and solution

• A Hearing exam will be conducted, ensure your ears are clean

• No loud music 24 hours prior to exam (this will affect your hearing test)

• Always remain polite and courteous to the medical staff as well as all others at MEPS
