Top o' the mornin' ... or afternoon ...
or evenin' to ye all!
Almost everyone claims to be part Irish on St. Patrick's Day. In Ireland, St. Patrick's Day is a National Holiday established to honor the patron saint of Ireland, Bishop Patrick who introduced Christianity to Ireland during the fifth century. It is told that St. Patrick is credited with chasing snakes out of Ireland as well as many other miracles. St. Patrick's Day is celebrated with parades, eating green foods, wearing green and trying to convince friends that they are part Irish on this day.

Luck of the Irish to ya!

There's a dear little plant that grows in Ireland.
'Twas Saint Patrick himself sure that set it.
And the sun on his labor with pleasure did smile.
And a tear from his eyes oft-times wet it.
It grows through the bog ...
Through the brake, and through the mireland.
And it's called the dear little Shamrock of Ireland.
